Almonds, Walnuts. Pistachios!

I have been out in the field with my grower/processing partners as we get closer to harvest. Due to a cooler than average Spring, nuts will be approximately 7-10 days later on harvest than typical. Its good to hear nuts are filling out nicely with larger sizes for a change. The cooler weather has also assisted in keeping pest pressure down a bit - but NOW, twig borer, and stink bugs still require vigilance. Water is plentiful (for now) with full farm water allocations this year. It is still a buyers market with plenty of available inventories at attractive prices. I don't see this window closing soon - but a great time to look at your nut requirements whether spot or short/long term.
