Dry Beans Harvest

Bean harvest is underway in most California growing regions - just in time to prepare for those hearty soups and entrees everyone enjoys in the Fall and Winter. The beans are cut, then swept in to windrows where they will dry - waiting for just the right moisture prior to harvest. Most beans seem to be rated as average for quality and yields this year.
